A local Training Provider is currently advertising for two Employer Engagement Advisors to work in Hockley(Nottingham)
1 Role is Permanent - 40hrs P/W
1 Role is a fixed term contract until the 31/07/2012. - 40hrs P/W
Overview about the role
The role will be the main contact for a caseload of customers through their journey into work. This will involve identifying and addressing customers' individual barriers to sustainable employment, delivering employment focused training support to groups and providing 1-2-1 information, advice, guidance and support throughout the programme to help customers into long term employment.
Responsibilities
Matching customers to suitable employment opportunities encouraging them to fully engage in the attainment of sustainable employment.
Management of a caseload of customers through the programme, providing information, advice,guidance and support to assist them in overcoming barriers to sustainable employment.
Achievement of targets as set by your Business Manager
Delivery of inductions to each new customer to the programme
Initial assessment of customers individual training and development needs to enhance employment prospects
Construction of individual action plans with each customer
Signposting customers to other interventions such as identified training needs or specialist support
Working closely with the Employer Engagement Consultants to identify relevant employment
opportunities
Deliver training sessions to groups
Ensuring customers receive an appropriate and tailored job search programme
Guiding customers through the programme toward their job goal and act as a mentor whilst in work
Continually review and update customer's individual training and development plan
Assist in the follow up of all leavers to ensure that targets for starts and job outcomes are met and also assist with the tracking system for leavers
To accurately complete all administrative duties connected with the Employment Advisor role to ensure that contractual compliance guidelines are met
Carry out timely evaluation with all customers
Develop and maintain effective and professional working relationships with customers, employers and service providers ensuring a quality service is provided at all times
Benefits
£19,500 - £22,500 depending on experience
