My client is an ever growing sales and retail company based close to Nottingham and Mansfield. They are seeking an ambitious and experienced Accounts Assistant that can hit the floor running and contribute to a winning team. To be considered for this role you must possess Sage Line 50, Excel experience and have worked in purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations. This is an all round position that will suit a AAT studier who is wanting to continue to expand on their skill set but it is not vital that you have to have a accounts qualification.
Sales Ledger
Prepare sales invoices and send out to customer
Send invoice list to HSBC Invoice Financing daily
Investigate customer queries
Issue customer statements
Credit Control
Purchase Ledger
Register and match purchase invoices with purchase orders and
release for payment
Resolve supplier queries, liaising with other staff members
Reconcile supplier accounts to statements
Prepare weekly/monthly payment run by BACS
General
Daily cash book entries and postings
Payment of expenses & petty cash
Daily HSBC Sales invoice control reconciliation
Monthly cash book reconciliations.
Accounts packages used Sage Line 50
Tharsterns printing data package specifically for the printing industry (training will be given)
General cover for all other aspects of the accounts department including cover for
accounts manager when on holiday.
22 hours week
